I loved doing these portraits of three brothers. It was great to meet them, and it was great fun to create.

Behind each boy is a traditional rustic oak treillage wallpaper design popular in 17th-century France, England, and Ireland. Hidden within are cherished family memories, including a surprise appearance by one of Grandad’s favourite Dinky cars. 

On the back panel, a simple white border frames the portraits. The design was inspired by the beautiful pleated design on the family christening gown.
